Beaches are considered to be some of the most romantic destinations in the world to get married. As beautiful as a beach wedding sounds, however, the permits and red tape, hot sand under your feet, and unpredictable temperatures of the summer, don’t always make it the best choice. If you like the idea of a beach wedding, there are ways to bring the beach into your special day.

Although, there are many colors that make up the beautiful landscape of the shore, it is the blues and greens from the ocean and the tans of the golden sand that stand out. If you want elements of the beach at your wedding, consider choosing variations of these colors for your wedding attire and/or decor.

Of all the treasures you can find during a walk on the beach, none are quite as precious as the seashells and starfish. You can’t go wrong by incorporating these details into your ceremony and reception decor. Using them as table decor, centerpieces, or even wedding favors ties in the beachy theme.

Of course, bring the beach to the center of attention at your wedding reception by having a beach-themed cake.
